South Cebu - 500 Peso challenge

1/29/2018 Family Reunion
Yung 9:00 AM flight namin delayed na move siya to 1:00 PM.

3:00 PM Arrived at Mactan international airport.
Walang kwenta, kami lang na move samantalang un ibang kamag anak namin with same flight number hindi delayed. What sorcery is that? I asked for explanation but not clear information from them. Pati sila clueless. Kaya nagpa chicken joy nalang sila, sayang nga kasi konting oras nalang free flight na sana yung kapalit.
Hindi na natuloy yung city tour kasi napagod na kami that's why dumiretso na kami sa bahay ng lola ko dahil may papiging si mayora. HAHA

1/30/2018 Moalboal and Kawasan Falls
This is the start of the 500 peso challenge.
This is a family trip kaya huwag niyong seryosohin yung 500 peso challenge hahaha

We left at 5:00 AM
7:00 AM Arrived at Moalboal fish port. They paid PHP 100 each as entrance and boat for 25pax is PHP 5000 (2 Boat).
Syempre mga titas kasama ko kaya nakipag tawaran pa sila at nakuha nila ng PHP 2000 kasi nga naman ang mahal ng PHP 5000 lalo na kung isang tao lang magbabayad HAHA.

8:30 AM Start of Island hopping. We are only given 30 minutes per spot.
It is a 3 hour tour including the travel time.

First spot Pescador Island: Ang taas ng alon and the current was strong. Medyo disappointed kasi mataas expectations ko lalo na sa coral reef niya. Pero I may be wrong kasi hindi ko na explore yung mismong isla.

If ako ang tatanungin kung babalik ako ang sagot ko at isang malaking OO hindi enough yung 30 minutes rin kasi.

Second Spot Panagsama beach (Sardine run and Turtle bay): Sa wakas nakita ko na yung mga sardines at buti nagkaroon kami ng eye to eye contact ni kuya bankero kaya nagkaroon ako ng chance to dive with them. Sandali ko lang sila na experience kasi natatae na ko (nasira ata yung tyan ko sa kinain naming puto) at walang dive buddy kaya nakuntento nalang ako dun sa kuha ni kuya sakin. Hindi ko rin naabutan yung sikat na turtle dun.

11:30 AM End of tour

Observations: 
1. Yung briefing nila sa guests is not enough. Yung mga guide pa yung umaapak sa corals, sayang eh buhay pa naman yung corals.
2. Mabilisan lang yung tour kaya bitin ako.

We ate lunch sa mismong port.

12:30 PM Left for Kawasan falls.
12:45 PM Arrived at Kawasan falls parking area.
1:00 PM Start of Kilometer walk. May mga food along the way kaya hindi ka matatakot magutom

 The trail itselt is refreshing na kaya I was really looking forward to see the falls up close.

There are unique souvenirs also that you can buy on the trail.

Madami kaming nakasalubong na mga nag canyoneering and may mga maliit ng falls rin kaming nakita before reaching our destination.

1:30 PM Arrived at Kawasan falls

Rentals rate:
PHP 50 Life jacket
PHP 400 Cottage

Just like any other falls the water is freezing but your body will automatically adjust as soon as you take a dip.
Ladder sa gilid ng falls and if you follow the path you'll end up on this another falls.

I am surprised na commercialized na yung area. May mga hotels at madaming tao.
Strictly no smoking sa lugar pero may nakita akong foreigner na nag yoyosi (sinabi ko sa guide) sabi ng guide hndi daw sila naninita pero bawal talaga. Nakakainis diba? 
Unfair lang kasi kapag kapwa pilipino sisitahin pero kapag foreigner my immunity.

OH WELL! SANA yung mga turista (Local or foreigner) will learn to respect the places they visit.

3:00 PM Back to Van.
Kumain muna ng meryenda bago umalis.
6:00 PM Arrived at Pilario Castillo Travellers Inn located near Tumalog falls.

Hindi siya kagandahan at luma na but you only get what you paid for. We got it for 200 per pax. Wala akong contact since yung tita ko yung kausap nung may ari.

1/31/2018 Oslob (Whaleshark watching and Tumalog Falls)
The gang woke up early to go to whaleshark viewing area.
I skipped it kasi I have my own reasons. To be honest tempted ako to go there pero mas lamang yung pinaglalaban ko. I do not support it kasi I believe hindi siya good for the ecosystem. Whalesharks are migratory animals kaya if andun sila ng matagal ibig sabihin they are starting to depend on the boatmen and yung wild instinct nila will be lost. Kaya if you really want to see whalesharks in person, I would recommend to go to Sorsogon instead.

I just waited for the crew to go back since gusto nila pumunta sa Tumalog falls.

10:00 AM Off to Tumalog falls.
It is a 3 Kilometer ride and 600 meters downhill walk or you can ride a motorbike.
Makikita mo na yung falls from the area na tinatambayan ng mga habal habal kaya mas lalo kang ma eexcite.

10:30 AM Arrived at Tumalog falls. We paid PHP 20 entrance fee.

Grabe the falls is so majestic. I cannot find the right words to describe it.

So pagkatapos magswim at magpictorial dumaaan sa fish spa before leaving.

Rode a motor bike on the way back to the parking area kasi pagod na.

12:30 PM Off to Simala church
3:00 PM Arrived at Simala church
Huge and beautiful. Para kang nasa fairy tale pero and kinaibahan lang is this is a religious place.

Very strict sila sa dress code. I am wearing sleeveless dress kaya I'm forced to wear a cover up.

Some rented skirt for PHP 20

I am not a religious person but I get emotional when I was praying. Maybe it's the pregnancy hormones?
