So, This is not my first time to visit Boracay pero it is my first time to explore the Island.
Family trip nga pala to, for my Aunt's 50th birthday.

Here's our itinerary that I created before our trip.
AUGUST 1 - Touch down kalibo
MNL-KLO ETD 225 PM ETA 335 PM
KLO-MNL ETD 1125 AM ETA 1235 PM

How to reach Tabiao:

Ride a tricycle to Ceres Bus Terminal.
From Ceres Bus Terminal, ride a bus bound for San Jose, Antique and alight at Brgy. Importante (also known as “crossing”). 

Travel time is 2.5 hours.From Brgy. Importante, ride a habal-habal to Kayak Inn (see Where to Stay) located 4km. inland.

Eat Lunch

Experience Kawa bath

4:00 PM bound to Boracay 

Travel time:
Tabiao-Caticlan 2 hours
Caticlan port - Boracay 20 minutes

ETA to Boracay: 6:00 or 7:00 PM

Actual trip

Nakakatawa kasi on the date of our departure nag papanic yung Mom and Aunts ko since hindi ako responsive sa kanila. Medyo late ako pero buti nalang walang traffic!

This is a family trip so ikukwento ko nalang yung experience.

August 1, 2017 As usual,delayed ang flight. What's new? Plus we only got the airfare for a very affordable price so who are we to complain diba?

Upon arrival at the airport, we asked the tourism office on how to reach our hotel. Our hotel is just few kilometers away from the airport.


We were given 3 options para ma reach namin yung hotel
1. Tricycle PHP 100 which can accommodate 4 person
2. Taxi PHP 130 which can accommodate 4 person
3. Van PHP 400which can accommodate all of us in a single trip

Since madami kami we decided to hire a van.

We stayed at PapierusPensionne

 

There is a nearby 711 convenience store outside the hotel kaya madali kang makakabili ng light snacks and all other things that you might need for your trip.

We ate dinner at a nearby restaurant, hindi ko alam if malapit ba talaga yun o matyaga lang kaming maglakad haha

August 2, 2017 We woke up early, ate free breakfast and by 7:30 AM we're already off to Antique.


By the way, we requested the hotel if they can contact a van para sa amin for the whole day trip then ihahatid kami sa Caticlan. 

10:00 AM Arrived at Brgy. Importante, uyy buti pa yung Barangay importante.

10:15 AM Registration
We paid PHP 50/pax Environmental fee

It was still raining kaya medyo malamig talaga yung simoy ng hangin noted na napapaligiran kami ng bundok at mga puno.

I didn't know na meron palang falls dun basta ang target lang talaga namin is yung ma experience yung Kawa bath. Since andun na rin naman we decided na puntahan na rin yung falls to see kung maganda ba talaga.

PHP 150 guide fee (2 guides) - Required

11:00 We started trekking.

By the way, if you will be trekking before lunch pwede mo nang kausapin yung restaurant of your choice na iprepare yung food nyo ahead of time. Lahat ata ng restaurants dun merong Kawa bath.

Going back to the trek, binaybay namin yung Mt. banderahan para makita yung sikat na  Bugtong bato falls.

 

Hindi naman siya major trek, probably 30 minutes lang siya per way. We did not stayed long kasi we're all famish. Pagkatapos ng picture taking, we decided to go back.

On our way back the rain started pouring. Kala ko pa naman hindi na ako mababasa but unfortunately, nabasa nga kaming lahat.

12:30 We're back to the mainland.


We went to our chosen restaurant which is Blue Wave Tourist Inn and Restaurant.

While we are eating our lunch the staff are already preparing our Kawa bath.
Nilagyan nila ng iba't ibang dahon at bulaklak yung tubig pandagdag bango.

Another check on my bucket list. It was hot but it won't burn your skin, the water is relaxing.
I had to stay for a little longer and parang ayoko na umalis kasi ang sarap sa pakiramdam.

3:00 PM Off to caticlan

5:00 PM Arrived at Tabon port

PHP 75 Environmental fee

PHP 25 Boat fee

Ate dinner at a random restaurant
Night life, had 2 bottles to call it a day.

August 3, 2017

9:00 AM We started the island hopping
Got a package for PHP 450/pax with lunch. Madaming mag aalok sayo if you will walk from station 3 to station 1. Galingan mo lang sa pag haggle.

It is a shared tour, you will have to pay more if you wish to make your tour exclusive.

9:30 AM We boarded the boat

First spot was IIlig iligan beach 
You have to pay PHP 40/pax for snorkeling fee

From what I notice is fish feeding is rampant on the area. Corals were dead too so there's nothing much to see underwater.

After snorkeling nag dock yung boat sa island mismo.

11:00 AM Ilig Iligan island, medyo overpriced yung mga bagay bagay.
Example yung fresh buko PHP 250.Jusko parang isang puno na yung binili mo LOL

Hindi free yung use of the chairs unless bibili ka sa kanila.

The beach was nice though I spotted few cigarette butts in the area.
I just hope people will be more responsible sa mga basura nila.

To kill time, we rented a paddle board.

I went for a short dive to explore the underwater and heto yung mga nacollect ko:

Maya maya nagtawag na yung boatman namin so we can go to our next activity.

Puka beach was part of the itinerary but since there was an LPA during our tour hindi na kami nagpunta. Better safe the sorry.

11:40 AM Back to mainland Caticlan for lunch
Sulit naman yung lunch nila, nakarami ako nung mga fried small hipon tapos isawsaw sa suka. Nyyyeaaaammmm!

PHP 150 Entrance fee Magic island, Unli talon hanggang mahilo ka. 

We were not in the mood to be extreme during that time that's why we decided to choose Crystal cove over Magic Island though pwede mo naman puntahan pareho but with limited time only.

PHP 200 Crystal Cove, Lumipat kami sa isang speed boat to reach the cove.

Madaming pwede gawin sa cove line snorkeling and caving.

Inikot namin yung buong island, napagod kami kasi tirik na tirik yung araw. May part rin ng cove na maganda at buhay pa yung corals kaso nasisira dahil naapakan ng mga tourist.

3:30 PM End of tour
Sa hapon, we went to station 1 at nag aura aura.
Medyo sumama na yung panahon, mabuti nalang at nakatapos na kami ng tour.

Uwian na! We left the island early kasi maaga rin flight namin bound for manila.
