u-Masasa, Tingloy, Batangas

Another dive trip with the gang. This time we are heading to Masasa beach in Tingloy, Batangas. We heard na the water is really clear kaya okay na okay sa aurahan underwater.
Saturday - 2/4/2017
Sinadya naming gawing 2:00 AM pinoy time ang meet up for us to leave early.

Around 4:00 AM left McDonalds buendia.

Hindi ako kasabay sa bus that's why I cannot give you specific directions on how to go to Anilao port. Research mo nalang bes.

You can ride passenger boats going to Masasa in Anilao port, If mahanap mo yung port then you should be fine.

Hindi kami nag public boat since madami kami and we chose to rent our own boat round trip para diretso na kila nanay Rosie.
Roundtrip boat: PHP 5000 for a group of 12.

You can ride a passenger boat going to Masasa directly, hassle free na. No need to walk and ride a tricycle.

6:15 AM Arrived at Anilao port.

Bought supplies for 2 days. They have a small market on the port so I would suggest dun nalang kayo mamalengke para less hassle sa pagbitbit.
7:30 AM Off to Masasa. Medyo maalon pero maaliwalas ang panahon. We are glad that the sun is shining brightly.
9:00 AM Masasa. We rented Nanay Rosie's kubo.
Nagpahinga for few minutes then dive na.
We have 2 options either mahiga kami sa lapag (banig hits) or via hammock.
They provided banig and hammocks pero I decided to use my own. Bago kasi! hehe
By the way, simple lang yung kubo ni Nany Rosie huwag mag expect dahil mababa ang rate nila. We paid PHP 250.00 each.

Sunday - 2/5/2017
5:00 AM Prepped for breakfast while waiting for the sun to rise, pahinga konti, then dive again.
This time we went to another spot. Grabe wala akong masabi sa linaw ng tubig sa masasa. I just hope people living there will maintain cleanliness on the area. Madami dami akong napulot na basura sa dagat and dahil yun sa dagsa ng tao sa lugar. Masakit rin sa mata yung mga basura sa shore kung saan ng cacamp yung mga tao.
Kaya ikaw, oo ikaw who's reading this, if you go to a place make sure to respect not just the locals but also the environment. KEEP YOUR TRASH to where it should be. Don't be a BALAHURA.

After dive lunch then siesta while waiting for our private boat.

2:30 PM off to Anilao Port
Note:
1. Public boat fare is PHP 100 / Tourism fee PHP 30.
2. Madaming byahe papuntang Masasa but it is always better to be early incase you are planning to ride the public boat.
3. DO NOT VANDALIZE/STEP ON THE CORALS
4. I highly recommend for you to use REEF SAFE sunscreen to help prevent coral bleaching.
5. Keep the place clean, if you see trash floating around please do what is necessary. Malaki na kayo alam mo na ang tama. charot.

Expenses per pax: PHP 930.00 (Food/RT Boat/Accommodation.)
PS: Hindi ko po sinama yung pamasahe from Manila to Batangas port so to be safe bring extra cash nalang :)

Sharing our underwater auras ❤❤❤
