The Lakwatserangnegra | Ditumabo Mother falls | San Luis, Aurora

So after biking we went back to the villa and prepare before going to the Mother falls, we left the villa around 11:55 am. This time we didn't avail any package tour, we just hailed a tricycle on the main road.  According to the tricycle driver his rate is Php 300 so if we will summarize all our tour expenses we spend Php 900 which is smaller than our last tour in Baler.

Surfing was one of my childhood dream and i'm glad that right now all my dreams are tunring into reality one by one. Actually surfing is the main reason why we chose to go to baler, i really wanted to be good at it so few months after our first visit here we are again. This time we chose the Mahdox backdoor because of their included surfing lesson package.

Baler Biking experience

Biking
When we're on the way to the Villa we saw a bike for rent sign, i asked them if it's okay if we'll just rent a bike going to the market and luckily they agreed. The bike cost Php 35/hour so we have to be back in 1 hour or else we'll have to pay for extra charges.
The feeling was awesome, it's been a while since the last time i rode a bicycle, we were able to get back in 1 hour and it was tiring but at the same time refreshing, we will definitely do it again on our next visit to Baler.

The Lakwatserangnegra | Ermita Hill and Museo De Baler

Ermita Hill
After our tour to Aniao islets and Diguisit waterfalls, we went straight to Ermita hill. The Hill have stairways in it and i think the main part of the tour is climbing the stairs all the way to the top for you to feel what the 7 families felt during the tsunami way back in 1735 (not sure if that's the correct year) Ofcourse, there's no stairs yet that time so it's just admiring how they manage to reach the top of the hill without it.

Aniao Islets and Diguisit waterfalls

Aniao Islets
So after the Balete tree our next destination is the Aniao Islets. It is located in Baler, Aurora so it took us another 30 minutes to reach our destination.

Majestic Balete tree in Aurora

One of the spots you shouldn't miss during your stay in Baler is the 600 year old tree and was recognized as the Asia's Largest balete tree. The said tree is located at Maria Aurora, Aurora. The tree was exaggeratedly huge with many branches and roots to the point that you can already go inside. At first i am a little scared to enter because i might end up into a different dimension so it's kinda like a warp zone for me,(funny huh?) but i don't want to spoil the moment and i did it, i was able to get inside not only once but twice!

The Lakwatserangnegra | Best Buffet Restaurant in Baler | Gerry Shan's

During our first visit way back in April 2013 we just saw the Gerry Shan's signage along the way by accident, we saw their buffet thing for just Php 185 and that's unbelievably affordable.

Mahdox Backdoor Villa | 3 days 2 nights

At first i really thought Mahdox is just a surf school but when i tried to google their business i found out that they also offer accommodations and tour packages. I don't really care about the tour packages because I've already did the tour on my last visit, What really caught my attention is the very affordable hotel rate and the surf lessons included on the package. I filled out their inquiry form on their site and after few days i received a text message from Mhallen she answered all my inquiries via SMS that's why me and my partner decided to avail their Aloha package. We Paid Php 2300/pax which is already good for 3days/2nights with a total of Php 6900 (for 3 persons). After we deposit our payments on their bank account, Mhallen sent our itinerary ticket on my mail.

Joybus - Executive coach of Genesis | Best Bus EVER!

Actually taking a Joybus was not on our plan but since the regular Genesis bus is not yet at the terminal when we arrived we've decided to give it a try so we bought our tickets which costs Php 700, yes, it is quite expensive compared to the regular Genesis Buses.

Getting my NEW Go pro hero3 silver edition (it ain't that easy) | 6/13/2013

What makes me think of buying an underwater camera
After our Anniversary trip in Baler (April 2013), when we were at The Mother falls i was carrying my CANON EOS1100D which made me regret from bringing because it's big and heavy and i hate it when i need to be more extra careful not because i don't want to get hurt but because the camera is so sensitive and might be damaged easily if get soaked by water and because of that i was not able to get near the falls. That's why from that moment on i told myself that i'm getting a new underwater camera by hook or by crook. Another reason why is because i fell in love in surfing and i wanted to document everything (i love keeping memories).
