Epic road trip to Ilocos

Ilocos Sur to Ilocos Norte

Actually this Ilocos trip is not planned that's why I don't have a good itinerary and I totally don't know where should we go, except ofcourse the windmills which is the main reason why I wanted to go there, I call them Big Fans haha, so I forced my BF to plot our Vacation leaves and prepare for another adventure.

Here's our itinerary:
3:00 am Departure from manila via NLEX and SCTEX.
12:00 nn we arrived at Vigan Ilocos Sur, yes, it is a 9 hour drive since we are on a private car, my BF is the only driver and we do have many stopovers so that he could take a short rest and do some stretching.
After we parked the car, we walked around and decided to take our lunch at MAX near Calle Crisologo.
1:30 pm we started our tour, we rented Calesa to take us to our destinations. Just like what I have written above, I am not prepared that's why I kept on asking the calesa driver where are we going,
The Calesa's

My first time to ride calesa lol
Our Vigan tour includes:
Bell Tower
Syquia - Quirino Museum and Crisologo Museum

Pottery
Hidden garden
Flightless bird found at the hidden garden
Baluarte
Isn't he adorable? :)
Saw this sleeping bird in Baluarte
Calle crisologo on a busy day
Lastly the famous Calle crisologo
We were not able to visit the Burgos Museum since it is closed that day.
We finished our tour around 4:00 pm, we paid php 500 (Calesa rate is php 150/hr). Yes, we gave extra tip to the Calesa driver since he's always patiently waiting while we are roaming around a certain spot, he's also fond of answering all of my senseless questions, too bad I forgot to ask his contact number.
4:00  pm we left Vigan and went to Laoag to look for a place to stay for the night.

6:00 pm we arrived at Laoag proper, still looking for a place to stay, While we we're on the road my BF remembered Java hotel, so we went there but the hotel is pretty expensive so we tried our luck and find another hotel along the way. Luckily we found a hotel named Isabel Suites which is way cheaper than Java hotel, we took the standard big bed a/c room for as low as PHP 1300 with free breakfast for 2 (that is the last room available). We didn't even bother to check the room before checking in since we are just looking for a place to spend the night and we are also dead tired to look for another hotel.
The room is small, who cares, we are not staying there for good atleast they do have hot shower, room is clean and the bed is comfortable.
After carrying our luggage to the room we went outside to buy water and find a place to eat dinner, good thing there is a Jolibee and a small convenience store just around the corner. After dinner, we freshen up and went to bed.

Next Day
We woke up around 5:00 am arranged all our things and freshen up then  by 6:00 am we went straight to the hotel's restaurant to eat our free Breakfast.

7:30 am checked out at the hotel and went to bangui.. Yay,! while we're on our way around 8:30 am we saw the Cape Bojeador lighthouse sign, we got curious so we turned right, we went for a walk and took some pictures then we went  back on the road and proceed  to our real destination which is the Bangui windmills.
Cape Bojeador

9:30 am finally, we reached Bangui windmills, it is a windy and warm day but that doesn't stop me, we took many photos and made our epic jump shots with windmills on the background.
The windmills is so beautiful, they are mega structures and i am very amazed.

My Ilocos roadtrip is awesome! even though my lens got sands on it because of the wind but it's worth it and also thumbs up to my BF for driving alone without substitute just to make me happy.
Now i admit that i am such a spoiled girlfriend.

Other spots to visit in Ilocos:
Paoay church
Fort Ilocandia
Kapurpurawan rock formations

Ferdinand Marcos museum

My weekend turned out so well.| Majayjay Falls/Imelda Falls

It was an awesome Friday shift until my Lead told us that we are in need to render an RDOT. I was pissed at first because everything is planned and I am already excited to our out of town trip. I bargained but she didn't allow me to go that's why I ditched reporting for O.T. The hell.. lol. That decision I made was worth it.

Our Itinerary below this post. :)

Borawan Trip (My Sweet YES!)

April 2012
The place is very special for me and my boyfriend, since this is the place where i gave my SWEET YES to Him. The place where him and I became US.

Puting Buhangin, Pagbilao Quezon

Another perfect spot to spend the exaggeratedly hot summer, best for team buildings and for campers. I've been here for couple of times now (with my office mates) but every time I set my feet to this lovely place, I always end up falling inlove to it over and over again. What I love about this place is the white sand, clear waters, serene compared to any other beaches especially during weekdays, the cave called Kwebang lampas and of course the cliff that you can jump only if the tide is high.

Republic Wakepark , Sta Rosa Laguna

Date: January 20, 2013
Republic wake park is located 5 kms away from Nuvali park in Tagaytay. This is my third wake boarding experience, My first was at CWC Camsur during our Bicol trip year 2012, second was in this place too same year.
I really enjoyed my first try that's why we found ourselves doing it again.
